Mariachi Idol at La Fuente

Join us for Mariachi Idol…come to compete or come to enjoy the competition!

Mariachi Estrellas de La Fuente will accompany each mariachi solo vocalist competitor.

ADMISSION FEE -
$13.99 pp, (children ages 3-12, $6.99), INCLUDES **

** Advance reservations for tables of 6 or more will require a credit card hold, phone number and the party will be seated when all guests are present. TABLES WILL ONLY BE HELD FOR 10 MINUTES PAST THE RESERVATION TIME.

Here are the Mariachi Idol "Guidelines and Rules:"

• Age Requirement:       18 years of age and up.
• Competition Dates:     Wednesday, June 30, July 7,
                                     14, 21, 28 August 4 2010
• Final Competition:       August 11
• Start Time:                  7:00 PM
• Traje:                          Optional, performers will be
                                      judged on voice and stage presence.
• Solo performance only, no duets or trios. There will be a maximum of ten performance slots each week, so sign up early.

• Sign-Up: Visit or call La Fuente Restaurant (520-623-8659). Competitors will need to provide your name, telephone number, e-mail (if available), two songs you are prepared to sing and the musical key. Anyone late when their name is called will forfeit their performance slot.
• Contestants may only schedule one performance time. However, if they are present on other performance nights, they can add their name to a "waiting list" and may be called (in order of signup) if one or more slots become available. So come early!
• Each week the judges will pick a winner. Those six winners will be invited to compete in the final Mariachi Idol evening on August 11, 2010. They will then compete in an elimination round, each performing one song. The three top semi-finalists will be selected to perform another song and thereafter, the first, second and third place winners will be announced by the judges.

La Fuente Annual Mariachi Idol Trophy Cup.
Their name engraved on a Mariachi Idol wall plaque.
