Mariachi Idol at La Fuente
Join us for Mariachi Idol…come to compete or come to enjoy the competition!
Mariachi Estrellas de La Fuente will accompany each mariachi solo vocalist competitor.
Here are the guidelines:
- Age Requirement: 16 years of age and up
- Competition Dates: Wednesday, July 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29
- Final Competition: August 5
- Time: 7:00PM
- Traje: Optional
- Judges: Three Judge Panel with Guest Judge
- Sign-Up: Stop by or call the restaurant (520-623-8659). Competitors will need to provide your name, telephone number, e-mail (if available), two songs you are prepared to sing and the musical key.
Each week the judges will pick a winner. The weekly winner will be awarded a Gift Certificate for Dinner for Two plus an invitation to compete in the final Mariachi Idol Evening on August 5, 2009.
On August 5, 2009, the five weekly winners will compete for the following prizes:
1st Place ~ Rocky Point Getaway and a Two Song Demo recorded at AzTech Recording Studio with Mariachi Estrellas de La Fuente.
2nd Place ~ Tucson Resort Weekend
3rd Place ~ Dinner for four Gift Certificate
